The Print Run
Data and cookies
Nothing is collected here. This page is the detail behind that, because it is a claim a lot of sites make loosely.
No measurement at all
No analytics package, no tracking pixel, no tag manager, no heatmap, no session recording. No contact form, no comments, no newsletter, no account, no shop. Nothing on this site asks you for anything, and no record is kept that you were here.
Two things happen regardless
- Google serves the fonts. The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so opening any page hands Google your IP address and browser string. It is a real third-party transfer and worth stating rather than burying. Block third-party requests and it stops; the pages set perfectly well in the fallback faces.
- Cloudflare keeps server logs. Address, time, page, browser - the ordinary contents of an access log, held to Cloudflare retention schedules for security and performance. Nobody here looks at them.
Cookies
This site sets none. Cloudflare may set a single technical cookie to tell a browser from a bot. There is no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to - which is the only honest reason not to have one.
If you write
Your address and message are kept while the correspondence is live and deleted afterwards, or on request. They are not added to a list, because there is no list.
Rights
Ask what is held, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to it being processed: [email protected], answered within a month. Readers in the UK and EEA hold these rights under GDPR and can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if an answer is unsatisfactory.
